Celtic Tigger was designed as a short scale travel bouzouki that can be easily carried around and is ideal for use in crowded sessions. With 605mm scale length and 16 frets clear of the body, which gives great upper neck access, it can be tuned to GDAD or you favourite bouzouki tunings using light gauge strings (0.012", 0.016", 0.032", 0.042"). It is available in a range of interesting back/sides and top woods. Backs are usually four piece and depending on wood choice the tops are 2 or 4 pieces. See the Options page for details. Celtic Tigger pictured here is an European spruce top and African padauk back and sides. It has a surprisingly large voice for its size!
