I have recorded some pieces on a number of my instruments. While they do not give a full picture - playing/hearing the instrument live is the only real way - they give a flavour of the instrument's sound. These are all either my own compositions or arrangements. I hope you enjoy them.:
Carolan's Welcome - Patrik Nyman's arrangement played on my Euro Spruce / Brazilian Rosewood "Treebeard" in Bb F C F Ab C tuning.
Daithi's Boogie - my own composition in DADGAD played on Mark Williams European spruce/Cuban mahogany Daithi.
Calypso Medley - The first is my own composition inspired by a family holiday in Barbados, and the second is an arrangement of "Ornette's Trip to Belfast" written by Donald Shaw of Capercaille and tought to me by the great guitarist Ed Boyd of Flook. Played in DADGAD on my European spruce/African blackwood Butterfly.
Catherine Kelley's/ Daithi de Faoite's in CGCGCD a traditional slip-jig based on Tony McManus's arrangement followed by my own jig played on my cedar/maple Samhain.

Imbolc - My own composition played on the European spruce/Cuban mahogany travel cittern Imbolc, tuned to GDADE. This is a work in progress!!
Famous Last Words - written by Donald Shaw of Cappercaille and recorded by Mike McGoldrick on his CD Wired. It is a great piece in 7/8 time and pushes my naff flatpicking to it's limit - and sometimes as you will hear I fall off! The lead is flatpicked with a Dunlop nylon 0.73mm pick and the accompaniment is picked with thumb and fingers.Played on Joe Bardwell's Lutz spruce/Cuban mahogany Daithi.
Red Kites - my own composition in Open D tuning played on my sapele/English walnut Red Kite.
Martha's Stuff - played in Open D minor on Martha's Red Kite. This is Cuban Mahogany top with English cherry back and sides.

This is followed by the jig Lady Lane written by the fantastic Irish piper John McSherry from the Mike McGoldrick/John McSherry CD “At First Light”. This guitar arrangement was done by my guitar buddy Bill Briscombe.
A little ragtime piece I wrote called Candi's Rag in standard tuning played on Candi Harris's all Cuban Mahogany "Toby".
