Suzanna

Suzanna was designed as a travel guitar but is also fun to play at home where it add to the tonal pallette. With 605mm scale length and 16 frets clear of the body, which gives great upper neck access, it can be tuned to standard E-E with light or medium gauge strings. They are available in a range of interesting back/sides and top woods. Backs are usually four piece and depending on wood choice the tops are 2 or 4 pieces. See the Options page for details. "Suzanna" pictured here is an English sycamore top and old Rio Rosewood back and sides. She has a harp-like ringing tone, particularly in dropped tunings.

You can hear a recording of my English sycamoreBrazilian rosewood Suzanna here.
